My Philosophy
Well, here I'll tell you a little bit about what I stand for.
I am a christian. I strongly believe that Jesus Christ died to save everyone in the world from
eternal damnation. I have no problems with speaking my mind on this issue and if you have any questions, feel free to
e-mail me them.
One Tough Subject
Everyone has trouble with something. Some it may be school, others it could be family. My trouble is
understanding the true meaning of love. The dictionary defines it as the following: A deep, tender, ineffable
feeling of affection and solicitude toward a person, such as that arising from kinship, recognition
of attractive qualities, or a sense of underlying oneness.
I find it hard to see that as a strong definition. I believe that love is not based on feelings or whether you
are physically attracted to the person or not. I believe that love is a commitment. This is a commitment that
can't be broken. This commitment lasts forever and will last through any troubled times and every hardship it goes through.
I believe that if someone can concider love to be a feeling, then they are dead wrong. Love is a lasting commitment
while a feeling is an emotional state or disposition. A feeling often changes, love never changes.
